Eight focused routes for common software, connection, temperature, storage, camera, and audio problems.
Stuck on logo or boot loop
A device that repeatedly restarts may be short on storage, recovering from an update, losing stable power, or experiencing a deeper software or hardware problem.
Stabilize power and temperature
Connect a known-working charger and let the device reach room temperature. Remove accessories that may interfere with buttons.
Use the correct forced restart
Follow the manufacturer’s official sequence for the exact model. Do not repeat it continuously.
Choose update before restore
If official recovery mode is available, an update that preserves data is preferable to an erase-and-restore. Back up first whenever possible.
Stop if the loop followed severe impact, liquid exposure, or continues after an official update attempt. Qualified service is appropriate.
Device overheating
Warmth during charging, navigation, gaming, video, or setup can be normal; painful heat, swelling, smoke, or shutdown warnings require caution.
Stop demanding activity
Disconnect charging, close intensive tasks, remove a thick case, and move the device out of direct sun.
Let it cool naturally
Place it in a dry, shaded, room-temperature area. Do not use a freezer, refrigerator, water, or ice.
Find the trigger
After cooling, review battery usage, recent apps, signal conditions, charger compatibility, and whether the heat returns at idle.
Do not keep using a swollen, smoking, hissing, leaking, or painfully hot device. Seek qualified help.
Wi-Fi keeps dropping
First determine whether the problem follows the device, the network, or the location.
Compare another device
If every device drops on the same network, restart the router and check the internet service before changing the affected device.
Refresh the connection
Toggle Wi-Fi off and on, restart the device, then forget and rejoin the network only if you know the password.
Check software and interference
Update the device and router, disable conflicting VPN or privacy tools briefly for a test, and compare performance near the router.
Bluetooth won’t connect
Pairing problems commonly come from an accessory already connected elsewhere, low power, distance, or a stale saved pairing.
Prepare the accessory
Charge it, place it close to the device, enter its pairing mode, and disconnect it from other nearby devices.
Restart both sides
Turn Bluetooth off and on, restart the device, and power-cycle the accessory.
Remove and pair again
Forget the saved accessory, then pair it again. Check app permissions if the accessory requires a companion app.
Storage is full
Free space deliberately. Random deletion can remove important photos, conversations, or files without solving the largest source.
Read the storage breakdown
Open system storage settings and identify the largest category—photos, video, apps, downloads, messages, or system data.
Back up before removing
Confirm important files exist in a backup or another location before deleting them. Empty recently deleted folders only after checking.
Remove low-value bulk
Start with old downloads, offline media, unused apps, duplicate video, and large message attachments you no longer need.
Leave several gigabytes free when possible so updates, photos, and normal system tasks have room to operate.
App keeps crashing
Check whether the issue affects one app or the whole device, then change the smallest relevant thing.
Close and reopen the app
Restart the device if the app freezes again. Confirm there is adequate free storage.
Update both app and system
Install available stable updates and check whether the developer reports a known outage.
Reinstall carefully
Before removing the app, confirm its data is synced or backed up and that you know the sign-in details.
Camera not working
Blurry images, a black preview, or an unavailable camera can come from blockage, permissions, storage, app state, or hardware.
Clean and uncover the lenses
Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Remove any case or protector that overlaps a lens or sensor.
Test another camera app
Check permissions, close other apps that may be using the camera, restart, and compare front and rear cameras.
Check storage and updates
Free space if capture fails, then update software. Persistent shake, focus failure, or black output after impact may need service.
Speaker or microphone issue
Test separate audio paths to determine whether the issue is an app, setting, obstruction, accessory, or hardware.
Disconnect accessories
Turn off Bluetooth and unplug wired accessories, then test speaker playback and a short voice recording.
Inspect openings
Remove the case and check speaker and microphone openings. Do not push sharp tools, compressed air, or liquid into them.
Compare apps and modes
Test a call, recording, speakerphone, and media playback. Update and restart if only one app fails; seek service if one physical audio path remains dead.
