Summary
icareDesk is an independent device-help website. The current site does not require an account, does not include advertising technology, and does not intentionally sell personal information. Information may still be processed when you contact us, when a hosting provider serves the website, or when you choose an external link.
Guide search
The troubleshooting filter runs in your browser. In this build, the text you type is used to show and hide matching guide cards and is not sent to icareDesk by the site’s JavaScript.
Contact messages
The contact form prepares a message in your default email application. Your email provider, device, and the recipient mail service process that message. We receive the name, email address, device information, topic, and message you choose to send.
Do not send passwords, recovery keys, verification codes, financial details, government identifiers, or other secrets. We use contact information to respond, maintain guides, address requests, and protect the website from misuse. Retention depends on the nature of the correspondence and operational needs.
Hosting and technical logs
When this site is publicly hosted, the hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser information, referrer, and error data to deliver, secure, and operate the service. The exact provider and retention settings should be confirmed at deployment and this notice updated if necessary.
External services and links
Links to email applications, manufacturers, repair providers, or other websites are governed by those services’ own privacy practices. icareDesk does not control external websites. The generated social preview image is served as a normal local website asset and does not itself track visitors.
Your choices and requests
You can use the guide library without submitting contact information. You can also email support@icaresupport.online to ask about a message you sent, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need reasonable information to verify and process a request.
Children
icareDesk is a general-audience information resource and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should supervise device-support requests from minors.
Changes to this notice
We may revise this notice when the website, hosting, or information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
